Customers are using this product to coat their wheel rims and usually purchase between 4-6 cans. The average usage to coat wheel rims is 1 can per rim. We recommend 5-7 thin coats of Plasti Dip to get good coverage, this will make it easier to peel off the Plasti Dip if required.

DIY Synthetic Rubber Coating.
Plasti Dip can be easily applied by dipping, brushing, or spraying. Plasti Dip protective coating is ideal for a broad array of do-it-yourself projects around the home, garage, garden and elsewhere. It protects coated items against moisture, acids, abrasion, corrosion, skidding/slipping, and provides a comfortable, controlled grip.
Plasti Dip remains flexible and stretchy over time, and will not crack or become brittle in extreme weather conditions. It has been tested and proven in temperatures from -34ºc to +93ºc.
Plasti Dip coats and gives a comfortable, controlled, colour coded grip to all types of tools: lawn and garden, mechanical, electrical, woodworking and masonry. (Non-skid grit can also be added.)

Surfaces which are non-absorbent such as metals should be primed using our recommended Primer which is available in Clear colour. Size: 311 gram Aerosol. DO NOT use Primer if you wish to remove the Plasti Dip at a later date. For coverage and other technical information, please refer to the Technical and Manufacturer's Safety Data Sheets.
Using Plasti Dip Spray in cooler temperatures may affect drying times, finish quality, and spray performance. If you plan on spraying your project in cooler conditions, we recommend pre-warming the aerosol can by placing it in a warm room and allowing the contents to reach room temperature. Under no circumstances should users subject the aerosol can to temperatures above 120°F or use heat from an open flame or other sources of ignition to pre-warm the spray can. Additionally, cooler conditions may affect the surface you are spraying. If you are concerned about spraying your project in cooler temperatures, test in an inconspicuous area first to ensure the resulting finish will be what you’re looking for.
Tip can upside down and give a short spray to clear nozzle after each use to prevent clogging of the nozzle.
